What's Joan's story?

I’ve just moved to San Francisco after living on the East Coast all my life and we have bought a home after years of condo living. I’m passionate about knitting and love designing new patterns for others to knit. I love to garden and I’m very excited about finally being able to grow my own lemon tree. I’m looking forward to creating a warm and nurturing place for my husband and I and all our family and friends who will visit us and I know that HomeGoods will help me find all those special things that I’ll need to make it happen.
My favorite room in the house and why:
My new favorite room is our guest room—because I’ve always wanted a room that was “just for guests” and I’m having so much fun planning how to make it a warm and welcoming place for them.
Three things that make my home happy:
  • Comfy leather chair.
  • Chaise.
  • Side table.
