Easter Buffet Bar
March 08, 2021
I am always very excited to share Easter decoration ideas because it means warmer weather is here! Today I am going to share the cutest Easter treat station using items from your home and a few Easter goodies from HomeGoods.
To stay motivated and inspired, I decided to create a fun Easter treat bar featuring all things HomeGoods.
My dining room has seen a variety of looks over the last 3 years since we bought our house and each year, it looks completely different each season.
I visited my local HomeGoods store and stocked up on a variety of pastel colored crystal eggs, bowls, gnomes, pottery and the cutest ceramic bunnies ever.
I was so impressed with the assortment of large glass eggs, faux flowers and all things Easter!
First things first. Find a table top and layer a runner and some kind of garland across the top.
I found the coastal wood garland piece and wasn’t sure what I was going to use it for but I loved the colors, so it made its way into my shopping cart.
It serves perfectly as garland weaving in and out of the Easter decorations.
I used heavy duty tape to adhere the wooden gnomes to the gold candlesticks. I love how cute they look sitting up high overlooking the buffet.
It’s always a good idea to add a variety of heights when creating a tablescape or buffet bar so the gnomes worked perfectly on top of the candlesticks.
I purchased all of the candy and cookies at HomeGoods in their gourmet food department and love how all of the colors and patterns look together.
HomeGoods has the best gourmet food section for everyday and seasonal items!
I am still on the hunt for the perfect hutch (that won’t break the bank) for our dining room so for now this tv media console from HomeGoods serves as a buffet.
An Easter treat bar will definitely be a hit for the little ones in your family. I can remember when my son was younger, I would create a treat station for each holiday and he and his friends loved it. The first thing my son (now 14!) said when he saw this was, “when can I eat the candy?” -ha.
A bar cart is also a great addition to any gathering as it can serve beverages, food or both.
This bar cart has served so many different parties over the last couple years! You may remember my bridal shower post that my mom and I hosted last year out by our pool featuring this cart from Homesense. It’s so versatile and gorgeous!
I feel like the finishing touches to any treat station or bar are often the most important. For example, I used the candies and napkins as decorative accents across the bar cart and buffet table. Candies and paper goods are very affordable and add a lasting impact.
