Furniture and Home Accents

2018 was a year of many important events for many of us. From moving into a new house, to conquering a professional step, one more year of life needs to be celebrated. New Year’s Eve brings us the opportunity to say thank you 2018 for all the lessons and hello 2019, I’m here for your possibilities. Today I’ll be sharing some styling tips and some bar cart essentials for a farewell 2018 party.

To get ready for this farewell/welcoming party I’m setting my bar cart with some basic pieces for a smooth night. Raise those glasses

Well, not all your drink glasses will fit in a bar cart, but making sure you have the basics (and of course, that you know your crowd) will be of great help. I’m using in this bar cart a new set of stylish red wine glasses (with an elongated stem) and lowball tumblers ideal for Negroni, Old Fashioned drinks or a simple whisky on the rocks. Also, while at HomeGoods, I ran into a set of smoky gray glass tumblers that will add that masculine elegant touch to this cart.

Another spectacular item I was able to add to our bar cart was this squared-off decanter perfect to elegantly showcase a nice bourbon whiskey.

Keep that that bottle cool

Gone is the era of ugly plastic buckets. Now metal ones and glass are what modern dreams are made of. At HomeGoods I found a cute glass ice bucket with a metal rim that goes so well with our lowball tumblers. Another great idea I found at the store was a Double-Wall Iceless Wine Bottle Chiller. This amazing piece has thermal-insulated walls that will keep your pre-chilled wine bottle cool for up to 3 hours!

Ornaments galore

There are so many ways you can add a personal touch to a bar cart. From big accents (like a fresh garland), to small (in love with this wine stopper snow globe), you can make a statement with your cart. I also added a set of tapered candle holders for when the party continues through the night.

Other fun accents I loved adding were tree ornaments into the ice bucket. This brings some sparkle and whimsy into the bar-cart without overpowering its decor.

To finish decorating this bar cart, some LED wire lights and a green ribbons added a festive flair.

Hope you like these ideas about some bar cart essentials for a farewell 2018 party. Let me know how you style your cart and what especial item you  love using. And if you need more ideas on how to style or use your bar cart, you need to see this post!
