Seasonal Decor

Another year has passed and I want to say thank you to all of you for being here and making my days a little brighter. It brings me great joy to think that I’m able to inspire you and help make your home fabulous.

Christmas time is very important to me which is why I like to decorate as much possible, from the bedrooms to the bathrooms. What can I say? It’s my favorite holiday! And not only because of the gifts, but also because we always have friends and family over and we have such a great time. It’s the holiday I enjoy the most and it’s everyone’s favorite time of the year.

I had to think about what color I wanted to use this year and I noticed a lot of people were going for traditional this year: red. I’m not so traditional myself and I always like to be different from the crowd. That’s how I like to distinguish myself.

My favorite color is black and white (most of you know) but more so black. As of just a couple of years ago, I’ve been obsessed with pink as well. I would love to have black, white, and pink in every single part of my house if I could. With that being said, I didn’t change up the colors from last year. I decided to go with black as the principal color and give it touches of pink and cream, not white. Adding splashes of gold also gives any decor an elegant and rich feel.

My Christmas tree is enormous so I need tons and tons of ornaments. Of course, I found everything I needed at Homegoods. With as many ornaments as I needed, I was so happy that HomeGoods always has amazing prices and selection so it wasn’t hard to buy as many as I needed to fill up my tree. With just a little imagination and inspiration you find all throughout the store, it’s a piece of cake!

This year, I decided on two trees for the formal living room. I wanted this Christmas to feel more special. The smaller tree is dedicated to my two grand-babies. The tree is skinny so it doesn’t take up much space and the living room looks amazing with both trees on display. I made sure both trees had the same color scheme to tie everything together.

I always like to match my wrapping paper with the color scheme of the tree. It’s a good way to give your tree a personal touch and not to mention the matching is super cute. Don’t forget to also add ornaments to your gifts so they’re like a part of your decoration!

Don’t forget to have fun and enjoy the holiday season with friends and family. Most importantly, enjoy the food! We’ll have to wait until next year to do this all over again so make the most of it. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog! I wish you all a merry merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I’ll see you next time!
