Kitchen and Dining

Welcome, November! It’s the season for warm and cozy gatherings with friends and family! Whether you’re planning to host for Thanksgiving, or just a fun Fall dinner party, I have some inspiration for you!

You may have read one of my previous HomeGoods blog posts about how I transformed my ordinary garage into a pretty white barn! Well, I’ve created a dining area out here again with Fall gathering in mind.  Let me show you how I have used a few new pieces and some existing ones from HomeGoods to create a fabulous outdoor entertaining area!

When I was shopping, I was keeping a black and white color theme in mind.  I was happy to find these two wheat bunches wrapped in a classic black and white striped ribbon.

Next, these black and white linen napkins caught my eye! I decided to mix and match the buffalo check with the classic pin stripe.

I pulled my wedding china out of the buffet, and layered my new napkins over the plate, and placed these cute little Fall accent plates on top.  The simple detail on the plates adds a little whimsy. I love this layered look.

I found the perfect, deliciously scented candle to tie in with my theme too! A warm Fall scent is essential in our home! I gathered a few red and yellow leaves to add to the table for texture!

Rather than using orange as an accent color, I chose copper and amber accents.  I used a mix of mugs and glasses that I already had to give the table a more unexpected feel. Don’t be afraid to mix and match! Your guests will love it!

A little copper mercury glass pumpkin ties in with the drink ware.

This silver and copper serving bowl gives the table a little shine, which I always like to add to any space. A little sparkle or shine goes a long way.

A copper beverage bowl fits right in too.

To fill an empty corner and add a little charm, I styled a small table and sign with more pumpkins and leaves.

This gorgeous farm table was also a HomeGoods special find! I just love a good find! This table remains in my barn, ready for dinner parties at any given moment! I just push it over to the side when not in use!

A few dried corn stalks in a basket, and the look is complete! I hope my dinner guests enjoy eating here as much as I enjoyed creating it!

It’s the perfect time for you to #GoFinding at your local HomeGoods! Have fun creating!
