Decorating kids’ rooms is one my favorite things to do. For this project, I got to do a nursery; Easton’s nursery. It’s not your typical baby boy room with the blue paint. This is something more classic and simple.

Today I’m excited to show you all this little guys room. Designed with his needs in mind but without compromising style and elegance.

First things first, I wanted to figure out what to do with this wall. Paint or wallpaper? In the end, I decided to use these gray star decals to give it a touch of elegance and so the frames would stand out on the wall.

3 photos of Easton to give his nursery a personal touch. I made my own picture day and these were the three that I chose out of hundreds! Taking pictures of a baby is no easy task! I changed them to black and white and voila! They came out amazing. I found these frames at HomeGoods and I loved them because they’re big and stand out as well as fit perfectly above the crib.

The room was made with a gray color palette but I like to add a wow factor with some type of color. When I decorate, I like to do some DIY projects like this mobile above his crib. The colors are dramatic to get his attention. I made them with small pom-poms and I love the way it turned out.

I couldn’t  forget to make a space for all his favorite books and a spot to read them. I also added this gray chair from HomeGoods that I thought fit great with the decor. A poof to put their feet up also doubles as something fun for Easton to use to pull himself up on.

This floor lamp that I found was not in the color that I was looking for but the look was perfect. I decided to go ahead and buy it and paint it white myself. Didn’t it turn out great?

White curtains from HomeGoods to give the room a fresh, airy feel!

Let’s talk about these pillows. This cute puppy pillow was actually a tote I found at the mall while shopping. As soon as I saw it I knew I needed to make it into a pillow. I added some black pom-poms that was perfect for the rooms decor. The star pillow is also something that I made myself. I thought it would coordinate beautifully with the stars on the wall. It was so much fun to make it and I love the way it turned out. The rest of the pillows are from HomeGoods. You can’t beat their selection!

I hope you enjoyed this nursery makeover as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Until next time!
