Hello there lovelies! Today, I’ll be showing you how I transformed my messy, dirty, disorganized garage into a beautifully organized and chic space!

To understand how far this space has come, I’ll have to share a couple of before photos with you.  I know many of you can relate to the messy BEFORE picture.

We got everything cleaned up, donated many items, and organized what we wanted to keep.

Next, I decided to lighten up the entire space by sheetrocking the walls and painting everything white! We created an area for parking cars, and a workshop and storage area.   I didn’t want to ‘see’ anything garage related, so I came up with some clever storage ideas to hide those ‘not so pretty’ garage essentials.

With this beautiful white backdrop in place, I wanted to create a modern, industrial, farmhouse vibe.  I found a great mirror and faux plant for the workshop area, that help dress up the rolling tool cart area.

Then, I found this really cool sideboard/buffet piece (that would typically be used in a dining room), and used it for housing tools! The rug runner and stools helped create a comfortable seating area for projects.

I organized all of my seasonal decor from HomeGoods into plastic totes on a few shelving units, and covered those with shower curtains! I also used large wicker baskets to hide things like: a shop vacuum, extension cords, and tarps.

A few closed door cabinets were also used to store garden tools and other equipment.

As a special bonus, we are now able to pull the cars out of the garage and use this big open space for several different purposes.  One being, the perfect party spot!

Take a look at how I’ve created a sweet little dinner setting, using a new farm style table I found at HomeGoods. The bench and all other accessories are previous HomeGoods finds that I pulled out of the house to use for this occasion.

When the party was over, we just put the table over by the wall, and we can use it for a work top space.  All other accessories went back inside the house.

If you have a ordinary, messy garage that needs help, I hope this transformation has given you the motivation you need to tackle yours! Remember, it doesn’t have to be boring! An extraordinary garage is totally possible! My husband and I now argue over how loves it more! It’s now a space that we use all of the time!
