Outdoor Living Seasonal Decor

When it comes to a Spring refresh-  something simple, charming, and easy to do is always a good idea.  And out on the patio- one of the easiest ways to add instant charm is to decorate an outdoor mantel or seating area.
We have a few get togethers on the calendar this Summer- and that means a whole lot of refreshing and redoing going on indoors and out over here. And when it comes to our rock fireplace sitting area- I wanted something warm and welcoming and simple.

And for around $100 – I used just 3 things to freshen this area and give it a spring feeling.

Galvanized Buckets

So simple  with just the perfect amount of farmhouse charm- I picked up 2 of these metal buckets at HomeGoods and brought them home. They are perfect for using for cut flowers in the house- and outdoors and also for tucking plants into for a simple planter.

Chunky Woven Pillows

A simple refresh outdoors is just a few new toss pillows for your seating. I love these chunky nubby pillows- and in blush- even better.  And yes, the flower petals falling as the wind blows makes them even more charming, right?

Ambiance

I am a big time ambiance kind of girl and love to bring on all the twinkle lights and candles for an enchanted feeling. I picked up several chunky blush candles for the mantel and for tucking here and there in the pea gravel and also love to use string lights for a bit more pizazz. These are lights I already had that are vintage style with Edison bulbs which adds even more charm.

And for the mantel decor- my favorite is flowers of course- and this mantel look is so easy to achieve. It is simply a couple of the galvanized look buckets with potted blooms inside.  Simply place them on your mantel with an old mirror for instant charm.

Buckets $30 for both

Pillows $20 each X2

Candles $15

Potted plants- $10 each

With just a few elements-and around $100- you can give your patio and mantel a fresh look with HomeGoods. What is your favorite element or trick to use to freshen the patio?
