Are you excited for Spring? I am! We finally hit some nice weather here this week in Mass and it’s a real treat! Today I am going to share a 15 minute bar cart setup that you can do indoors or out. I found this amazing iron bar cart at HomeGoods and it was under $60. Isn’t that amazing? What I love about this car is that it fold up for safe keeping. If you look closely, you will see two hinges in the middle. They lock into place to stay open and you simply close it up when you are done with it.

Start with a bar cart you love. If you do not have a bar cart, no worries. Just use a tabletop of some sort. A bookcase top, a counter top, a dresser top. Anything goes!

Next, add a tray or something flat to place your bottles inside. I also found this really fun chalk board that added height.

Then add your bottles of varying sorts. If you are doing a themed cart, then add the necessary liquor to the tray.  My cart was created with a girls night in mind. A variety of wine, mixers and of course chips.

I also added a bowl for nuts.

Next, I added more glasses to the bottom of the cart along with some glass bottled coolers.

To add a different texture to the bottom of the cart, I added the chips to a wicker styled basket.

Finish with fresh flowers or plants.

HomeGoods has the best gourmet section which allowed me for one-stop-shopping while creating this bar cart. I picked up all the chips, mixers and nuts at the same time I purchased the bar cart. You never know what you will find when you #gofinding at HomeGoods.

I will admit, I was pretty excited about the project and it literally took no time at all. Almost every item you see on this cart (including the cart) is from HomeGoods.

I also mixed in melamine dishware and glassware. I bet you can’t even tell which glasses are real and which ones are melamine. I personally love melamine for outdoors. You can still serve cocktails in fancy glasses and not worry about glass breaking near the pool or on the patio. Head to HomeGoods and start your #gofinding trip. I honestly had no idea I was going to create a bar cart when I headed out to peruse the store. I just happened to see this cart and one thing lead to another. Happy Spring friends!
