Furniture and Home Accents Organization and Cleaning

The entryway is one of the most important parts of your home. It’s the first thing people see when they walk in, which is why we have to give it a little bit of extra care and time to decorate it.

My entryway is anything but expected. Your entryway doesn’t always have to be all about jackets, shoes, keys, telephones, etc tossed all over the place. In today’s post, I’ll be giving you a bit of inspiration on how to change things up.The key here is to know how to organize your home without putting in too much effort. Let’s always think outside the box so we’re not ordinary and always doing the same thing as the next person. I like to be different and I think it shows in everything that I do. This is a great thing to remember in small spaces.

This piece of furniture was a great find at HomeGoods. This was one of those moments when you walk into the store and that one item grabs your attention but you don’t see it clearly yet. You get closer and you think WOW this is definitely made just for me. It’s love at first sight! I love the style, the price, and I knew I could make something great with it. Isn’t it beautiful?

The doors have built in shelves that you could use to store shoes. This way you don’t have shoes just laying around at the door in plain sight. It looks a lot more organized and the house look so much neater.
Finally, all these shoes are out of sight!

When you don’t have a closet in your entryway to store everything, you can use a dresser like this with drawers to store all your necessary items. In these drawers, you can store your cell phones, tablets, keys, etc when you get home. They’re super practical and a good size to store anything imaginable. Again, the best part of it all, is that nothing is in plain sight.

This plant holder was also something I found when shopping and I am sharing on of my HomeGoods hacks. This used to be a galvanized plant holder with a stand. However, it wasn’t really my style. I decided to make it more me and give it my personal touch. As you can see, I painted it white and added blush with a gold stripe. Voila! I think it turned out beautifully and and it looks amazing in my entryway.

A small bench is ideal so friends and family can have a seat to take off their shoes. It’s something that’s practical yet looks great.

Details are always essential. Some lamps and scented candles to fill the air. Greenery always looks great and it’s eye catching when guests walk through the door.
