A bedroom refresh is always something that is fun to do. And in Spring, it is a perfect time to add a bit more light and brightness to any room and maybe a few new patterns or colors to bring on a whole new look.

I recently did a refresh in my bedroom- and I am loving how warm and inviting it feels with the new pieces I picked up at HomeGoods.  Today I am sharing a few tips for giving your own room a refresh in a snap!

#1. Fresh Bedding

I found this gorgeous ruffled blush linen duvet- and it was instant love. Sometimes pinks can lean too sweet or too ‘pink’ for my taste. I tend to prefer a warm undertone and almost peach tinted pink- and this duvet fit the color perfectly.

#2. Add a Quilt or Throw for a More Cozy Feel

I also added this matelasse coverlet to the foot of the bed. It is edged in delicate details and a crochet border which adds a touch of whimsy.

#3. Under Cover

What you don’t see are the new sheets under those layers of goodness. Beautiful vintage style sheets with a delicate crocheted edge were exactly what the bed needed to feel like new.

#4.  Texture and Pattern

For a bit more texture – I found these gorgeous blush and white woven pillows. They were a perfect match in color- and their woven nubby texture charmed me. I mixed those pillows with florals and simple ruffled shams for an inviting look.

#5. Bring in the Blooms

A blue and white bowl filled with ranunculus is pretty perfect in my opinion. This bowl caught my eye when I was in line- where I always seem to manage to find just one more thing to add to the cart.

I love blue and white for the classic pattern it has and this one was a very charming hand painted piece with birds and deer. I instantly thought of short blooms placed inside for decor on the nightstand.

Candles, linen sprays and other pretty little accent pillows were the perfect finishing touches- and the room felt like it was brand new.

How do you think it turned out? I hope you guys like it and are ready to head to HomeGoods and look for those unique pieces to bring Spring to life in bedroom, or any room!
