Spring into the New Season

Spring is just around the corner and I wanted to get this room ready for the new season. The design of this room is the same, lucky for me. I just added some color and changed some things around like the curtains and lamps. I wanted the focal point of this room to be the gold rings with flowers above the bed.

The colors for this new design are black and white with a touch of blush. That’s what Leslie envisioned for her new space as she loves the color blush! As mentioned, not much changed as she previously had the color blush in her room but now it looks brighter and with more energy. Some simple changes can make the biggest differences. Here’s the before and after!

Like I said, I wanted the focal point to be the rings above the bed. You can find them at any craft store and simply add greenery and flowers like these I found at HomeGoods. They’re super easy to make and they look like a million bucks!

The original plan for this room was to paint the wall black. However, since it’s an apartment she’s renting, it wasn’t possible. That’s why I decided to add the black pillow that I made myself and I think it was a great option. The contrast is super cute and it gives it fun touch.

You’re probably asking yourself where the bedskirt is from. That is also something I made myself. When it’s difficult to find what you’re looking for, the best option is to make it yourself! The bedskirt has always been one of my favorite things in this bedroom so I decided to keep it. Doesn’t it look awesome?

Accessories from HomeGoods always look great. Heading there I found everything I needed for this bedroom transformation. Just like this small cake stand which worked out great for storing earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. It’s good to always think outside the box to keep things different and interesting. Small picture frames give the room a romantic touch. The flowers are from HomeGoods and this year they had a great selection to choose from. They look absolutely real, I was stunned! The best part is I’ll have these flowers for the rest of the year. Great find!

The Mirror is from HomeGoods in a gold color which I purchased a while back. I had it stored away until I found the perfect place to put it. I love the style and the texture, it’s simply amazing.

I decided to change the curtains to a blush color for the Spring season. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. As soon as I saw them, I fell in love. They’re so cute and I knew they would be perfect for this space.

The lamps I found were perfect for this design. Black and white, what else could I ask for? The size is perfect as the bedroom isn’t very big so this was the best option.

This LOVE sign was a great find. It was originally for a baby girl as it was all pink. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would look great in this room. Add a little bit of paint and voila! It looks brand new and doesn’t look like the old one at all! Not to mention it looks amazing at night lit up. A great score!

Another change I made was change the buttons on the headboard. Originally they were white and changing them to black was a great decision. The bed looks brand new and looks amazing with the new design.
