Another year has passed and already we are decorating for Christmas again. This year is a lot more special for me than any other year because my first grandson will be born! He should be here within the next couple of days and we can’t wait. If you are reading this, he should have made his appearance already! This year has brought me many blessings like finding out I’ll be a first time grandma as well as having all of you support me. Thank you so much for following me through another year and for being such loyal followers. I couldn’t do this without you all.

This year, my decor colors haven’t changed all that much. You all know I’m a huge fan of black and white and blush just has my heart. I decided to use a bit of gray and gold and incorporated that with ornaments I found at HomeGoods. They’re all perfect, all the colors I wanted and more.

First I decided to add ribbon in order to fill in the spaces of this giant tree. The ribbon was a great find at HomeGoods of course! It’s a metallic blush color and it’s to die for. Another thing I decided to do in order to make it look more full is add some cotton that you can find in any pillow. You don’t need to go out and buy fake snow to do this. If you have an old pillow lying around, take out the stuffing and incorporate it into your tree. It will give the illusion of snow fall as well as make for a great filler. This is one of my favorite tips!

Black and white ornaments are my favorite. I love all the different styles and designs that are available. The flowers were a lucky find and I feel like I bought them all out! With the size of this tree, I needed to make sure I had plenty. I love the romantic feel they bring but at the same time staying modern. We can’t say that blush is just feminine anymore because I know plenty of people with that color in their home and their husbands love it! That stereotype is long gone and I’m here to prove it.

One of my favorite finds this year was this trio of striped trees. I swear they made them specifically for me! They’re adorable and fit in with my decor perfectly! I found the smallest one first and I never thought I’d find them in different sizes. I went to a different store and that’s when I saw them. I swear my eyes lit up with excitement! If you happen to find these anywhere, make sure you buy them on the spot. Once you go back, they most likely won’t be there any longer! I found out the hard way but luckily I know you should shop all the HomeGoods in your area. I’m so happy with these trees that I was able to find and I know it was meant to be!

These blush pillows were something I already had so I decided to make some white and black ones to give it that special touch you want during the holiday season. I love the way they turned out and I’m sure I’ll be using them throughout the year.

Using fur in your Christmas decor is one of the easiest things to do. You’ll never go wrong with this! I use it throughout the year even when the weather isn’t chilly. However, during the Christmas season, I use a little extra to give the house a warm feel and add some elegance which is important to me.

The present boxes I bought in black and white and also found them in blush! HomeGoods has such unique wrapping options. I added the black ribbon to make sure they all meshed well with the decor. My main color is always black! Don’t they look super elegant and modern? With black you can never go wrong. I’m sure we’ve all heard that sometime in our life!

To make your home feel more festive and in tune with the season, I suggest adding Christmas decor. I was able to find these reindeer and some faux wreaths. You can never go wrong with wreaths, whether faux or fresh. I try to incorporate some fresh ones here and there as I love the smell throughout the house and it makes it feel more like Christmas! I added my own ribbon to match the decor and voila! You don’t need to do much to make it look amazing.
