Thanksgiving is right around the corner (can you believe that?) and today I wanted to share a quick 5 step Thanksgiving Centerpiece idea that takes all of 30 minutes including setting the table! I know, sounds impossible but I am here to break it down in 5 easy steps.

First, use a Fall festive tablecloth or placemats. The plates that I chose had a yellow and red patterns so the plaid tablecloth featuring similar colors worked perfectly.

Next, create your centerpiece. This centerpiece I created is literally two candle holders and two glass pumpkins. I placed them in a row down the center of the table and spread faux leaves and fall decorative picks from my local craft store. That’s it!

Next, use a set of chargers to anchor your dishes. Layer your dishes and top with a cute napkin and napkin holder. Add you silverware and glassware and your tables setting is complete.

Place your small and large serving pieces around the table in between your place settings to fill any dead space on the table.

Lastly, I used gold decorative rocks as confetti to add texture and a little sparkle to the table. Decorative paper confetti is also fun to scatter around the table too.

Everything on this table, except the small off white antique dishes which belonged to my great gram, is from HomeGoods! This year, my local HomeGoods stores seemed to up their game with their holiday decor display. I mean, they always have cute displays and coordinated items together but this year, the displays were REALLY good and a huge variety of colors, textures and coordinated patterns available.

That’s it, a 5 step Thanksgiving Centerpiece and tablescape in under 30 minutes. I absolutely love how this table came out. When choosing a color scheme, I always start with a piece I love. In this case, it was the dinner plates. I loved the color and pattern so I built my table around the plates. Once you find that magical piece that speaks to you, everything else just kind of falls into place. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and have fun decorating and cooking, and of course, eating!
