With summer just around the corner, I wanted to update this outdoor living space with fresh new accessories from HomeGoods. This seating area was previously dressed in colors from fall, so it was ready for a change.

I wanted to add some bright and cheerful colors that would enhance this already gorgeous space. I used two main colors: pale turquoise and coral. Layering a new turquoise rug over the existing natural sisal one lightened the area up.

The furniture pieces are neutral, which is great for adding a new pop of seasonal color with toss pillows and a throw. It’s great to find outdoor pillows, but don’t be afraid to use indoor pillows in your outdoor settings as well. If you happen to have a rainy day ahead, just pull your pillows inside for the night.

This beautiful coral piece brings a nice coastal feel to the space, and all of the new accessories bring out the colors of the fireplace tiles.

A few extra pillows and throws to different seating areas in your outdoor space will ensure your guests are comfortable enough to stay a while.

Add a few more accessories in the same color palette to help tie your look together.

Place a stylish basket near your pool or spa to hold towels for your guests. It will make them feel like they’re being pampered at a fancy hotel!

Near the BBQ and bar area, I have a large basket so carrying dining essentials a cinch. You can find a wide selection of melamine products at HomeGoods to use for dining outdoors.
