It’s hard to believe that Father’s Day will be here in a few short weeks. It seems like yesterday we were just celebrating Mother’s Day. Whether you are buying for your own dad, your kiddos’ dad or any dad for that matter, chances are they have a grill. Most of the men I know, especially the ones who live in our home, love to grill. It’s about the only time you will see my husband cooking any type of food. One of my favorites on the grill is a juicy burger.
A few essentials that are a must for any grill are tongs for moving food around, a heavy-duty stainless steel spatula and a grilling fork. If you want to go above and beyond, feel free to throw in a fun apron and matching oven mitt.
When creating a group of grilling items, I love to also add in a bunch of grilling sauces, kabob sticks made from stainless steel or bamboo and a grilling grate for veggies. If you are like my dad, you need a thermometer to ensure the meat is fully cooked. They make so many fun grilling thermometers, some are even digital. If the dad you are buying for loves to make specialty burgers, be sure to buy a hamburger press. They form the most perfect burgers. Delishsis shared this fabulous DIY Father’s Day rub spice recipe which would be a perfect complement to any grill gift basket. They even have a super cute printable as well. I LOVE this idea!

Once you have gathered all of your grilling items and accessories, add them inside of a basket, pail or even a small cooler on wheels. Think outdoors and items that you would re-use for something else.
Here is a gift basket I put together for my own dad a couple of weeks ago filled with everything from HomeGoods. Isn’t it fun? I decided that the fun bottom tray would be perfect for serving food.
