The other day while shopping at HomeGoods, I was feeling a little bit copper. Copper is one of those gorgeous metals that just oozes charm. It is not gold, not silver, not too anything.

It is in a class of its own with its bronzy, beautiful glow. Some of my favorite, old patina looks on metal are copper with the blue-green aging that it gets.

So, when I saw that gorgeous coppery glow from across the store, I was drawn right over to it. A chunky, delightful copper bucket, complete with a hammered handle and rolled tool edging.

I knew right where it would go and just what I would use it for. It is the perfect size for holding a big bucket of flowers in the kitchen.

Sometimes it is the little unexpected treasures that you bump into that are the best.
